Comfortably Floyd Award Winners:
Oustanding Pink Floyd Web Sites

2-21-03 - The Wall Petition - This is a very unique site dedicated to The Wall....the video game? That's right! Jon Sedlacek has started a petition to have some video game company create a game based on The Wall. On his site, Jon offers a ton of information on the movie, the album and the concerts. He also offers addresses for each of the band members (except Syd) for everyone to obtain some autographs. He claims to have received three of the four band members signatures through these addresses. There's also a pretty lengthy biography. The site has a great look and feel to it, and has good use of stylsheets and JavaScript.

5-13-02 - Comfortably Numb (German) - "Wolfgang" has the best non-English Pink Floyd web site I've seen to date. This German site contains a very unique look, and a magazine section I have yet to see on any Pink Floyd web site. The downloads section is pretty nice and the discography seems to be pretty complete. It also has a great pictures section, which includes many shots of different Floyd merchandise...another feature not found on any other Floyd site I have seen. I wish I could read his biography section, and the section titled "Me & Them," but unfortunatly I can't speak or read German. Wolfgang has a great looking site, and used some great Java applets, without overkill.

12-13-01 - The "Real" Pink Floyd - This web site is dedicated to Pink Floyd. What makes it different from every other Pink Floyd fan page out there? It's dedicated to Pink Anderson and Floyd Council, the two American blues artists who Pink Floyd contrived their name from. The site is run by young man named Alex Ahlstrand in Sweden. Alex has had some contact with Alvin "Little Pink" Anderson, the son of Pink Anderson, and displays his email correspondence proudly at the top of his site. The web site also mentions a collection Alvin Anderson has started to save his father's house. You may also check out Alvin's web page with a link on this site, and even purchase Pink Anderson and Floyd Council music.

3-9-01 - The Original Pink Floyd Tour of London - "Sad Ken" has one of the most unique Pink Floyd web pages I have ever seen. His web page describes a tour of London in which he hit every major (and some minor) Pink Floyd landmark, with tons of pictures. You'll start off on the south and west sides of London. There you'll see the Battersea Power Station (cover of Animals) as well as Earles Court (host of Pulse and Is There Anybody Out There?, among other Floyd concerts). You'll then head north to the famous Abbey Road (no description needed). Finally you'll end up in the center of London and visit three clubs where Floyd used to play. Once finished, you can hit a few "odds and sods" as Sad Ken refers to them, including David Gilmoure's house boat, and London Arena. There's also a ton of links should you want to try the Original Pink Floyd tour of London yourself. Hats off to Sad Ken for an outstanding Pink Floyd web page.
